It seems that summer is fully upon us, and one of the best ways to spend a scorching day is to go to the lake. For some of us, we have to drive to the lake and, eventually, have to leave. Some of the lukcy people, though, get to live by the lake, and never have to leave! This design takes full advantage of lakeside living. There are massive windows in the Great Room that look out beyond the double-sided fireplace to the pool and lake beyond. There is also a spacious outdoor courtyard in the front of the home as well as two private viewing terraces from the Master, one downstairs and one up a winding staircase. With a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen and bar, spacious seating, dining areas, and multiple TVs, this outdoor living area is ideal for large family gatherings.
As you approach the house, you see a courtyard with a fountain and antique gate. As you walk through the house to the back, you find a pool and have a view of the lake. There is an outdoor kitchen with a grill, sink, refrigerator, and a lot of countertop space for eating and entertaining. The outdoor kitchen has elegant granite countertops. For the rare cool nights, there is a two-sided outdoor fireplace with space for wood. When you go back into the house, the view of the lake is never far away. There are large wood windows which bring the outdoors into you. Either in summer or winter, indoor or out, you will always have a nice view of the lake and great place to sit and read, or entertain.
