Inspiration Wednesday: Hill Country outdoor living in the floodplain

Hill Country outdoor living

This 9,000+ square foot exclusive waterfront custom home sits almost entirely in the flood plain. To retain the original integrity of the lot, we build a retaining wall for half of the house and the other half goes down to natural grade.

This courtyard style home with bridge connecting both sides capitalizes on the beautiful Texas hill country and lake views.

There is a calm reflecting pond and soothing waterfall beneath the bridge of this home. Not far away, Koi fish swim peacefully throughout their own pond underneath the master terrace.

The expansive outdoor living spaces and pool and spa provide ample space to relax and take full advantage of the Texas climate. An automated fire pit located in the middle of creatively arranged pavers is the perfect spot to gather on a cool Winter night.
